Vietnamese Boat People Monuments have been erected in many places around Australia. The aim is to pay tribute to those who have lost their lives on their deadly journeys to freedom, to pay homage to the Australian people and to the Australian Government for welcoming Vietnamese refugees. It is a legacy of our identity, Vietnamese Refugee.
On the Unveiling Ceremony today Sunday 7 February, 2021, on behalf of the Committee, we would like to thank His Excellency the Governor and the South Australian Government for their enthusiastic support.
